The script kills some scripts and adverts served by “external ad servers” by not letting their ad script be executed. This means that you don’t just hide the ads, but also the placeholder used for those adds.
Note: Some sites use these ads to gain revenue (money), so you may want to block the adverts only on specific sites where they cause problems. This script lets you choose what sites to block scripts on, and what ad servers you want to block on those sites.
